Seriously?
So at Walmart the other day I was waiting at the deli counter. I had Alli and Macie and this gentlemen ahead of me said what cute kids I had. He then went on to say how cute Alli was and how handsome he (Macie) was. I kindly said that my handsome baby was actually a girl. And I didn't give it much thought. UNTIL, a couple of days later while walking on the track at the local rec center and couple said how cute Alli was cause she would wave at them everytime we passed them. The man said, "So a girl and a boy?" Which one did he think was the boy? The girl with pigtails, bows and tutu or the girl in the pink carseat, pink blanket and pink sweatsuit? I came home and took a picture of Macie exactly how she was when she was accussed of being a boy. I don't even care that she may look like a boy to some, but come people, use the context clues.

I just want to tip my cap to Jeff. A tip of the graduation cap that is. He graduated in December in Business Management and got a job with Heritage Financial Group (www.heritagefinancialgroup.com) as a financial advisor. We're so proud of him, he really worked hard. I'm not quite sure what his new job is all about, he's working right now on getting his licenses. So start thinking of what you need ie life insurance, stocks, bonds, investments, college funding, estate planning, retirement planning, etc. He'll be able to hook you up!
Congrats again Jeff!
We love you, your ladies

This is the most recent picture I have of Jeff. I know you're eyes are probably drawn to the infant whose face is screaming "kidnapped" but I assure you that is our sweet Macie and she is not being held against her will.

BFF
Amber and I have been anxiously awaiting for this to happen. Belle and Alli are 2 years apart and have never really played together. But things have changed. These two are so funny together. Belle is the boss and Alli is her little side-kick. They change in and out of various princess dresses about 10 times before the night is done.

No, I did NOT pose them. I simply told them to smile. We may be in trouble come Jr High.

Here's just a few pics from New Year's:

Can you believe this hair? No I didn't curl it, just a little gel.

Christmas and such
We spent Christmas Eve, with the Ashman's. We went to Tepanyaki for dinner and after we just hung out, opened our exchange gifts, and Sam & JD threw pillows at the kids as they ran by. It sounds kinda mean, but judging by the pictures below, the kids loved it.
Our Christmas could have been better. It sounds harsh, but it's true. I'd would have liked a little less throw up. Alli woke up with throw up everywhere, but still in great spirits. We didn't end up getting out til later that day, when the vomitting subsided.
We also made an attempt to go tubing at Solider Hollow. She loved putting on her new gear, but when I put her in a little tube to pull her around, she wasn't having it. It all unraveled from there...

Happy Birthday Alli!
Our sweet little Alli turned 2 today! She's such a funny little girl. She's growing up way too fast though. Alli loves anything Sesame Street, Mickey Mouse or Disney Princess. She loves playing with other kids and is still working on the art of sharing. She likes reading books and coloring. She's a girly girl and doesn't like to leave the house without her purse, keys, lipstick and credit card. She's brought so much happiness to our family and we love her so much!
We had our front room filled with balloons and a princess chair and a few presents to open. She was more excited about the balloons I think. We're going to continue the celebrations at a venue responsible for a good chunk of my birthday parties as a kid... Chuck E Cheese.

Getting caught up
I haven't taken any pictures lately. Fortunately, anytime we do anything fun, it's with Tara & Nash so Tara's always right there to capture the fun. We try to get the kids out every now and then. Recently we went up to the Children's Museum, Wheeler Farm, and a park up in SLC. I don't know what we're going to do when it gets too cold to go outside.
