My cousin, Ashley, told me about how you can make baby leggings out of women's socks. So I thought I'd give it a whirl. The brand "Baby Leggs" cost about $12-$15 a pair, these bad boys cost $3.00! And they were SO easy! Now Alli can wear her mini skirts all winter! (That's how I had to convince her)

24
Jeff and I were so excited to see the new 24 season. We even rented all of season 6 so we could catch up and remember what happened almost 2 years ago. So, with the new episode coming close to the end, we see a preview for season 7 coming in JANUARY! What?! What did we just watch? Well, apparently 24: Redemption is movie that will lead into season 7. But we have to wait 2 months. I don't know about you, but we're chapped!
Last year we went to California to visit my aunt. While we were there we got to visit the 24 set. My dad's aunt is the script supervisor. So we got to go to the 24 White House and meet the President and some other cast members. I really wanted to meet Chloe but the wasn't in the scene. And Jack was off too. But everyone we met were really nice. Here's a few pictures:
This is the new FBI headquarters. No more CTU :(
Here I am signing a very important bill in the Oval Office
My aunt Anne and a director
Since they were filming a scene in the Oval Office, we couldn't watch cause it was too small. So they set us up with headphones and monitors to watch all the takes. I think Jeff is actually sitting in Cherry Jones' (the President) seat.

Just disregard the boogers and the fact that it looks like she has a baby toupee
Although Alli has been throwing a few tantrums, she still is so sweet. I was folding laundry the other night and Alli would go around to each pile and throw them. So I put her in a bin with a book and she was golden. It bought me enough time to finish. But she was just so content to sit there and look at her book.
2 kids?
Claire giving Alli a hug
I had just woke Alli up. (She doesn't usually like to get up before 10am. Definitely her mother's daughter!) And her eyes are still puffy, it's hilarious
I babysat Alli's BFF Claire this morning. We had fun playing, watching Barney, and eating macaroni. What funny little girls! These two and Belle are the start of our Olympic gymnastic team. We're hoping to have our own team together by 2024! Thanks for coming over, Claire.

Utterly Consumed...
Well my blogging has taken a severe hit this last month for one reason: couponing. It's true, I have join the highly lucrative world of clipping coupons. It's a cut-throat world, but I'm surviving. My spare time consists of collecting coupons, clipping coupons, and finding deals to use these coupons. You're probably laughing to yourself asking, how could that take up so much time. But it does. IE: today Albertson's is having their biggest sale of the year and I have been crunching numbers the last two days gearing up for this. It was not easy by any means and I think I've shorted my life spand a little, but it was worth it. Oh and here's a fun little nugget: Alli was excited for the sale too, so she got up at 3am. Thus, I was up at 3am. And she wouldn't go back to sleep. And she would not cry but scream anytime I tried to lay her back down. So we watch Baby Einstein until 6am then headed to Albertson's. Amber and I were there when they opened and we went to work.
The fruits of my labor:

The above items were on sale for approx $121 and I paid $37
(candles and holders not included. Compliments of Ashman Candles ;) right dad?)
